Imani Jade Powers is a young actress, singer, and dancer pursuing a career in theatre, film, and music in New York. She has trained in Shakespeare at RADA, Meisner at the Maggie Flanigan Studio and Chekhov at the Michael Chekhov Acting Studio. Recent roles include Ariel in The Tempest (RADA), Juliet in Romeo + Juliet (Sarah Lawrence GradWorks), and Beauty in Beauty and the Beast (RubberMatchSeriez, SF). Imani is a recent graduate of Sarah Lawrence College with a Concentration in Writing and the Creative Arts. She has just completed her first feature length screenplay having written herself into the principal role. She has been studying with director Ken Schatz for almost 2 years and is honored to be a part of Pook's Hill's inaugural production!
